Money & ME Returns to Roswell for Train the Trainer

Money & ME returned to Roswell, New Mexico, on August 27 for a Train the Trainer with CasaKids, marking the third time Money & ME has had the opportunity to train members of the organization.

The training prepares participants to bring Money & ME’s simple, practical, and effective approach to financial literacy to the individuals and families they serve. Trainers experienced the curriculum firsthand while learning how to teach concepts such as budgeting, needs versus wants, spending habits, saving, and financial goal setting.

The evaluations showed a significant increase in confidence. Before the training, several participants rated their confidence in teaching financial literacy at just 1 or 2 on a five-point scale. After the training, every participant rated their confidence a 4 or 5.

Participants especially appreciated the simplicity of the program. One trainer described Money & ME as a “simple effective money management course that teaches you how to use money throughout life,” while another called it “easy and a great beginner-friendly program.”

The real impact begins after the training. These new trainers will take what they learned back to the families and young people they serve, helping them build budgets, establish savings, reduce debt, set goals, and develop greater confidence in managing money.

Money & ME is proud to continue its partnership with CasaKids and to equip more trainers with the tools to create positive change—both behaviorally and financially.
