NEW Money & ME Spanish Edition “El Dinero & YO” Available NOW!

Edith Carreon has been with Money & ME since its inception. Her main jobs include bookkeeping, overseeing the shipping, and most recently, translating Money & ME into a Spanish edition.

Back in 2011, Sara Money (Director & Developer of Money & ME) and Edith began talking, and even working, on a Spanish edition of Money & ME. However, due to different circumstances, it was put on hold. Fast forward to a year ago when Edith began once again to translate Money & ME into Spanish.

As Edith began translating Money & ME, she realized that some of the ideas used in English would not work as well in Spanish. For instance, many Spanish speaking do not have, or use, dry cleaners. Another one is a babysitter – an abuela (Grandmother) or maybe an auntie is simply asked to watch kids.

Whether it’s simply changing the wording from  “deviled eggs” to “boiled eggs” or examples like above, because the word “deviled” does not apply to eggs.  Edith simply did not “translate” but instead put her heart and soul into this new Spanish edition. Using her background, it is translated using a “Mexican Spanish”. Edith says she “tried to use words and ideas that everyone knows.” Thank you, Edith for all of your hard work in translating Money & ME into Spanish!

The NEW Spanish edition of Money & ME (El Dinero y Yo:  Edición Palabras Sabias) is NOW available at MoneyAndMe.cash.
