Last month, Sara Money (Director & Developer of Money & ME) had the opportunity to travel to Atlanta, GA for the “Addressing the Challenges of Poverty” National Conference hosted by the company, “aha! Process.”
“aha! Process” mission is to “enable individuals, institutions, and communities to stabilize and grow resources for all, particularly those in poverty. aha! Process is an award-winning training and publishing company providing workshops, publications, and consulting services to help improve lives and build sustainable success in communities, schools, and higher education. They do this by creating an understanding of the dynamics that cause and maintain poverty from the individual to the systems level.”
Specifically, the “Addressing the Challenges of Poverty National Conference” “brings together all sectors of a community in one venue for networking and learning in order to create healthier, stronger communities, colleges, and schools.”
As you can tell, this conference speaks to the heart of what Money & ME is all about – “providing tools and training to organizations who would like to help low-income people take control of their finances.”
Sara was honored to be a part of and share Money & ME with like minded people who are eager to help in this critical component to poverty. At that conference, there were over 40 interested people in the Money & ME program. From those 40, there have been people and organizations from across 9 states that have ordered preview packages.
Money & ME is making an impact across America!
