Zoe Harmon is the first person to complete the Money & ME Training in Michigan! Zoe graduated last May from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan and is now working for Hope 101 Transitional Housing Committee as a budget counselor in Newaygo, Michigan. She is also a volunteer at the Family of God church. She will be teaching people who have been homeless, near homeless, as well as other families from community churches.
Zoe states the best part of the Online Money & ME training was that she could do it remotely and when it was convenient for her. She would spend evenings sitting in her own living room (with her dog nearby) watching the training videos and completing the quizes. She says that it was an easy and accessible environment. Zoe will begin teaching Money & ME in December and will be doing three sessions comprised of two hours each.*
She is excited to get to know participants bettter and encourage them that there is help and hope. She wants people to know that it is possible to “get back on your feet” and give them ways to turn away from negative to positive feelings. Zoe is very optimistic about helping others identify their strengths and build on them for success!
