Organization is important! The Money & ME Workbook and Kit are CRITICAL for the success of the participants to help them get organized and be equipped to manage their money. During development, it was discovered that participants are typically organizationally challenged and they usually WILL NOT go purchase the necessary tools needed to be successful. These workbooks and kits help participants live within their means.
Essential tools for participants:
- Three ring binder with tab dividers to help participant stay organized
- Plastic accordion to keep envelopes, calculator, mechanical pencil, coupons, receipts, and notepad together
- Calculator and mechanical pencil
- Ten envelopes for cash envelope system
- Notepad to record spending.
- Calendar to write down when they get paid and when their bills are due (a low-income person CANNOT afford to pay late fees)
- Certificate of Achievement!
